FeHoVa will reopen its doors next weekend
On February 6, FeHoVa, the most significant exhibition of hunters, anglers and nature lovers of the Carpathian Basin, will open its doors at the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center. The three-day event awaits visitors with countless interesting programs and presentations. According to the plans, approximately eighty young people from Vas will be able to visit the FeHoVa exhibition as part of an organized bus trip, supported by MOHOSZ and the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations, similar to previous years.
The young people participating in the trip will be students of fishing schools and professional circles running in the county. At the MOHOSZ stand, fishing enthusiasts can develop and test their knowledge in interesting youth programs. Bait boat tests take place daily in a pool designed for this purpose between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., where those interested can try out the most modern equipment. In the spinning pool, bait handling demonstrations and useful tips and tricks await beginners and advanced players alike. There is a fishing school for children at the MOHOSZ stand, where young people can learn more about the basics of fishing. In addition, visitors can purchase their annual fishing license on site or even take the state fishing exam. Reports from renowned Hungarian sport fishermen provide additional ideas and inspiration.

In addition to the intarsia exhibition of the Keszthely Jenő Memorial Exhibition “100 Years 100 Hunters”, the Nadler exhibition will also be held, which will showcase the most beautiful Hungarian big game trophies of the 2022–2024 hunting seasons. In addition, visitors to the “Black and White” diorama can admire the details of hunting culture from a unique perspective. The programs include a falconry demonstration, trophy judging presentation, and autograph signings. Painter and graphic artist Judit Prihoda will create live on stage, with musical accompaniment. Saturday is dedicated to competitions. In addition to the Hunting Horn Festival, the XI. Youth Hunting Horn Solo Competition and the XIII. FeHoVa Cup International Deer Horn Championship will provide excitement. Béla Hidvégi will auction his hunting relics on the main stage, creating a special opportunity for collectors.
