Carp deployments will continue on Monday
Despite the national shortage of fish and the rise in prices, which has been discussed a lot in previous reports, the installation of hooked carp continues in the waters of our Association. On Thursday, June 9, 355 kg of carp were planted in Rábasömjén Lake, Celldömölk Brick Factory and Park Lake, and Mersevát Lake.
Due to the extraordinary sudden rainfall, the pre-planning of the catches required for the deployments does not mean that the ordered fish can be caught, loaded and transported, so for information only, the following quantities of carp are expected to be deployed in our waters by Monday:
- Gersekarát Sárvíz Lake: 600 kg
- Magyarszecsőd gravel lake: 600 kg
- Lake Újintinti: 500 kg
- Szombathely Boating Lake: 600 kg
- Szombathely Fishing Lake: 500 kg
If the catch and the capacity of the transport vehicle allow, carp will also arrive in the following waters on Monday:
- Lakes in Vasvár: 350 kg
- Lake Püspökmolnár: 350 kg
- Hunting lake: 350 kg
We reassure all interested anglers that we are planning to install carp in all our water areas, including the swollen sections of the Rába that will calm down after the flood, but the expected date of these is indicated by the fish farmer, often quite unexpectedly.
After fish stocks, a general ban on fishing will not be imposed in any of the waters so that everyone can indulge their passion as soon as possible.
We urge everyone to pay particular attention to complying with fish size and daily quantity limits due to national fish shortages and rising prices. Our fishing guards will also give priority to checking the individual weight of fish retained and recorded in the logbook. In order to comply with the annual quantitative quotas, significant discrepancies (greater than 0.5 kg) between the logbook entries and the actual individual weight will be penalized and therefore recorded as accurately as possible by the fish to be retained.
