August monthly bans in the county

Every weekend in August, a fishing competition is held throughout the county. During the events, general fishing bans will apply to non-competitors. Please always check the current restrictions before you start fishing. In addition to our website, we also post the bans on our Facebook page and lakeside billboards.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Anglers' Associations will ban fishing in August at the following locations and times:

• On Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 06.00 to 15.30, due to the organization of a fishing competition called the Orszgáso Police Cup in the entire area of ​​Lake Abért II.

• On Friday, August 20, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., due to a fishing competition held on the St. Petersburg section of the Pinka stream as part of the St. Petersburg Sports Day.

• On Friday, August 20, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on the Ikervár Canal due to the power plant and the association fishing competition held on the Ikervári side on the section about 1 km back from it.

• On Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 6.00 am to 1.30 pm, the Magyarszecsőd gravel mine on the lake due to the traditional Végvár Winning Memorial Competition.

• On Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on the Alpine Lake in Vaskeresztes due to the fishing competition of the Alpokalja Fitt-Klub Association.

• On Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Lake Répcelak due to the Association’s Children's Fishing Competition.
