Our association’s professional fishermen visited our popular and less frequented fishing waters on Friday night to gain experience with night fishing that can be done seamlessly again. The inspection was also greatly aided by the high-performance thermal imager purchased last year with the support of MOHOSZ, making it significantly easier to inspect our fishermen at night.
Our fishermen, in pairs and with the help of the police, walked through most of the stagnant waters belonging to their area and the dammed sections of the Rába River, from early evening until one o'clock at night.
Despite the increased interest in night fishing in the past, our fishermen encountered less fishing than expected. During the inspection, two serious irregularities took place during the inspection, in addition to which several persons had to be warned in writing due to minor acts in violation of the fishing order (eg parking, failure to illuminate the fishing spot).
In addition, we would like to draw the attention of T. Horgásztárs to the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption on the waterfront, from which our fishermen also received some “taste”.
In addition to his own equipment, his health and even his life are endangered by anyone who e.g. it is in a state “unsuitable for fishing” on the river Rába! We ask everyone to pay attention to moderate alcohol consumption during fishing so that they can live their hobby for as long as possible!
