A school fishing day with colorful programs was held in Iron Cross
Last Saturday, the 7th grade students of Kölcsey Street Primary School in Körmend and their parents spent a pleasant day in the center of our association in Vaskeresztes.
At the beginning of the program, Bálint Finta gave a short and interesting presentation on the question: do fish feel this pain? He outlined the latest research on the subject, and then illustrated the means by which we can most deliberately release a caught fish from the hook. He also talked about the importance of the mattress and the disinfectant, and the issue of releasing it into the water.
And after the performance, the kids got to know fishing. There were some really pros - Armin Honfi caught a total of 26 fish, so he got a little extra at the end of the day - and there were also some who first caught the rod.
While the parents cooked the goulash in two cauldrons, the girls made a chuh baby, so everyone found the activity that really interested them.
At the closing of the event, Bálint Finta and Georgina Nagy expressed their special thanks to the Iron County Association of Sport Fishing Associations for providing the venue and the fishing equipment that allowed anyone to try this really nice sport.
