716 kg of wonderful bream arrived on Friday
Despite the continuous and drastic rise in fish prices, our Association is trying to pay as much attention as possible to replacing the native whitefish stock. Unfortunately, the price of previously rare bream species has also "run away", depending on the quality, quantity purchased, age group and species composition, it is well above HUF 1,000, currently net HUF 1,200-1,400/kg, which is close to the price of carp on the market.
Despite this, since the primary goal in the fishing waters managed by the Association is to maintain as diverse a fish stock as possible, on Friday the Szombathely HALÁSZMESTER KFT. delivered by a total of 716 kg II. and III. Beautiful summer bream have arrived in the following waters:
- Répcelaki C&R lake: 100 kg
- Téglagyári lake in Csepreg: 202 kg
- Hársas lake in Máriaújfalu: 414 kg
The installation of the Csepreg Téglagyári lake and the Hársas lake in Máriaújfalu was realized with the support of Csepreg Répcementi HE and Szentgotthárdi HE, for which we also thank the associations.
The amount of fish planted was accompanied by a staff member of our Association from loading to the waterfront, ensuring fast and professional planting at the points where the amount to be planted was supplemented by manual bagging.
After the fish stocking, a general fishing ban was not ordered in any water area.
Our association fulfilled its current fish management plan for this year - despite the fact that it was exempted from this by the authorities due to the drought year - so it is not expected to plan any more plantings for this year!
Once again, we ask our fellow anglers to show restraint when fishing for bream, which is registered as another fish, so that the stock has the opportunity to reproduce naturally in the spring!
