500 kg of carp went into the three sections of Pinka
Due to the current live fish market situation, we are pleased that market-sized carp are still available in some places, so 500 kg of carp were planted in Pinka on Thursday. Of course, if the purchasing possibilities and available financial resources make it possible, our Association - in accordance with the fish management plan for the rivers - plans to purchase and plant other native fish species in the autumn.
During the current installation, fish arrived in the following sections of Pinka:
- Pink St. Peter's tree: 200 kg
- Pinka Croatian shooter: 150 kg
- Vaskeresztes Pinka backwater: 150 kg
After the fish stocking, a general fishing ban - with the exception of the Vaskeresztes Pinka backwater affected by the Pinkavölgy Fish Day fishing competition, where fishing is prohibited for those who have not entered the competition until 2 p.m. on Saturday - was not ordered in any water area, so that everyone can indulge their passion as soon as possible.
Due to the national shortage of fish and rising prices, we ask everyone to pay particular attention to complying with the size and daily quantity restrictions of fish. Our fishing guards will check the individual weight of the fish kept and recorded in the catch log. In order to comply with the annual quantity quotas, a significant (more than 0.5 kg) difference between the weight entered in the catch log and the actual individual weight will be sanctioned by the fisheries wardens, so register the fish you want to keep as accurately as possible.
