2024. May bans

In the month of May, a fishing competition is held several times throughout the county. During the events, full or partial fishing bans will be in effect for anglers who have not entered the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations orders a fishing ban at the following locations and times in the month of May:

On May 1, 2024 (Wednesday), from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers who have not entered the competition in the entire area of Kéthatár lake in Kerkaval due to a fishing competition.

On May 4, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., due to a fishing competition on Lake Pinkamindszenti, a general ban will be in effect for anglers who have not entered the competition.

May 9, 2024 (Thursday) from 7:00 a.m. to May 12 (Sunday) 4:00 p.m. on the Abért II lake in the IX. Due to the semifinals of the Freestyle Method Feeder National Championship, there will be a general ban for anglers who have not entered the competition.

On May 12, 2024 (Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will be a fishing ban on the Kerkaszentkirályi lake for anglers not registered for the competition due to a children's fishing competition!

2024 . On May 18 (Saturday) from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers not registered for the competition on the designated competition course section of the Lukácsháza settlement of Lake Abért II on the side of the Gyöngyös stream.

On May 19, 2024 (Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers who have not entered the competition due to the association fishing competition on Lake Újperint I.

On May 25, 2024 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers who have not entered the competition at Kéthatár lake in Kerkaval due to an association fishing competition.

On May 26, 2024 (Sunday) from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers who have not entered the competition on the Sárvíz lake in Gersekarat due to a fishing competition.

On May 26, 2024 (Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers not registered for the competition due to a children's fishing competition at the Téglagyári lake in Celldömölk.
