2023. September bans

In the month of September, a fishing competition is held several times throughout the county. During the events, full or partial fishing bans will be in effect for anglers who have not entered the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.

• The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations orders a fishing ban at the following locations and times in September:
• On September 2, 2023 (Saturday), from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general ban on fishing on Lake Vassurányi for anglers who have not entered the competition.

• On September 9, 2023 (Saturday) from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general fishing ban for anglers who have not entered the competition due to a private competition on the Alpine fishing lake in Vaskeresztes.

• On September 9, 2023 (Saturday), from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general ban on the 150-meter shore section of Lake Abért II on the side of the Lukácsháza settlement, due to a private competition, for anglers who have not entered the competition.

• On September 16, 2023 (Saturday) from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general fishing ban for anglers who have not entered the competition due to an association competition on the Alpine fishing lake in Vaskeresztes.

• On September 16, 2023 (Saturday) from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a partial fishing ban on the Szombathely Csónakázó lake due to the Savaria Race obstacle race! We ask fellow anglers not to obstruct the construction of the course necessary for the obstacle course on the respective coast sections with their fishing activities on the day before the competition!

• On September 17, 2023 (Sunday) from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general fishing ban for anglers who have not entered the competition on the Celldömölki fishing lake due to a fishing competition.

• On September 17, 2023 (Sunday) from 06:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will be a general fishing ban for anglers who have not entered the competition due to the association fishing competition on the Magyarszecsődi-kavicsbányatav.

• On September 23 (Saturday) and September 24 (Sunday), 2023, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be a general ban on the designated competition course section for anglers not entered for the competition due to a fishing competition on Lake Abért II.
