ENTRY DEADLINE: Deadline for filling out the entry form and paying the entry fee: Friday, March 20, 2026, 4:00 PM. (Payment is by bank transfer only)

If you have decided that you will definitely come to the competition, please register as soon as possible by filling out and submitting the form, and arrange the transfer well before the entry deadline. (This will help with the preparations for the competition and increase our time to perfect the shooting grid)

Technical information: The 5-day payment deadline stated in the automatic confirmation of our online entry system does not apply to this competition; please pay the entry fee as soon as possible, but no later than the entry deadline! The “Pay within 5 days” or “I have paid” option is available on the entry interface for technical reasons only — please do not be alarmed by this, feel free to select the “Pay within 5 days” option to record your entry.

Entry fee: 22,000 HUF / person / competition
You can enter 2 separate competitions on 2 consecutive days (Saturday and Sunday).

The entry fee includes:
- day ticket
- 100-100 kg (total 200kg) of fresh/new trout per competition day - installation
- breakfast before the competition (fatty bread with vegetables, tea)
- lunch after the competition (goulash one day, cellar stew the next day)
- Commemorative plaque/cup for TOP3.

LUNCH: The Companions' lunch can be ordered by paying an additional registration fee of +2500 HUF/lunch. If you have a companion and would like lunch for them as well, send the amount transferred at registration plus the amount you need to the above account number. Please also indicate in the comments section of the registration interface how many additional companions you have requested lunch for.

There are also several accommodations in the settlements of Szombathely, Sé, Torony, and Dozmat, which are about 15-25 minutes away from Vaskeresztes.

Agenda:

06:20-6:45 — Arrival, mandatory personal registration with the admin
6:45-7:00 — Drawing
7:00-7:40 — Preparation, equipment preparation in the parking lot
7:40-8:00 — Entry to the starting area and preparation
8:00 AM — Competition begins
After 6 stages — 30-minute break
After 6 stages — End of race

Race track competition schedule:
The dimensions of the lake (approx.): 25 m wide, 75 m long, depth between 1-1.5 m.
The race track will be marked out on one side of the lake, along its entire length, divided into equal boxes according to the number of entries.
— A maximum of 16 boxes can be designated. In each box, 2 competitors compete. This means 4.68m per duel if 32 competitors are entered. That is, 2.34m per competitor. The first 2 stages are 15 minutes long, the remaining 10 stages are 20 minutes long. The break between stages is 10 minutes for the entire field.
— In case of a higher number of participants, the competitors are divided into 2 groups, and both groups fish in turns, but the same 12 stages, with slightly shorter stages and slightly longer breaks. While group A fishes (e.g. 16 minutes), group B rests (16 minutes) and vice versa. A maximum of 2 minutes will be available for group change breaks. In case of 40 participants, they will be divided into groups of 20-20 people, and 10 boxes will be assigned. In this case, one box will be 7.5m, i.e. 3.75m will be allocated to each competitor. The first 2 stages are 12-12 minutes for both groups, the remaining 10-10 stages are 16 minutes for both groups.

Only HARD baits of 18mm and larger can be used —› The use of RUBBER baits is PROHIBITED!!

Mandatory: SILICONE or RUBBERIZED knot-free head landing net (maximum length 2 m including head) and factory-made BARBLESS SINGLE-BRANCH HOOK (filed, pressed or micro-barbed hook, milled hook profile is PROHIBITED! Due to the shore and water level of the lake, the use of the so-called Releaser is possible.

Everyone should bring a ballpoint pen to keep track of their shooting sheet!!!

TRAINING: UNTIL SUNDAY, MARCH 22, possible every day during the lake's opening hours for a daily ticket price of 1500 HUF. In order to rest the existing fish stock and protect the FRESH trout arriving before the competition, there will be a 5-day complete closure of the lake from March 23-27, all fishing activities are PROHIBITED.

By entering, each competitor considers it to be universally accepted the rules set out here and in the national Trout Area regulations.

IMPORTANT:
- know that (although the Trout Area National Competition Rules (2026) discuss this in detail) the ongoing 2025/2026 competition season will be concluded by the ranking competitions on March 14-15 and March 28-29, 2026, BUT due to the TRANSITION, these 4 March competitions will also open the new 2026 season. This means that the points earned after these 4 competitions will count again in the new season.

- After the horn signaling the halfway point of the stage, both sides must change starting positions in the pits within 15 seconds without obstructing each other, and the boxes and rod holders must also be moved.

We would like to remind everyone to follow the rules, to enforce them with others (both competitors and chaperones), to be sportsmanlike and to follow the expected etiquette. Please plan according to the SANCTIONS of the national regulations.

With special emphasis, I recommend to everyone the sections on proper fishing, fish handling, unhooking and releasing. There are new things in this area from 2026. No one should feel uncomfortable if their catch is invalidated by their opponent. This is a competition and your opponents take the rules very seriously.
