Competition details
ARC. Rakós Botos Carp Catcher OB
The championship consists of several semi-finals, three semi-finals and one final. It is possible to enter the semi-finals at six locations and six times, but a competitor can only enter one semi-final. (If the number of entrants justifies it, additional semi-finals may be organized.) Each semi-final consists of three rounds, and the semi-final and the final consist of four rounds. The rounds last five hours. We can accept entries for each semi-final depending on the capacity of the track; if one location is full, you can enter for another location and time. There is no territorial division, you can enter for each regular season regardless of your place of residence and association membership. The 40 competitors from the previous year's ranking list do not have to compete in the semi-finals, they must submit their entries for the semi-finals by February 28, 2025. If someone indicates by this deadline that they do not wish to participate in the semi-finals, the next competitor on the ranking list will be given the opportunity to enter. If any of the competitors who entered by February 28, 2025 withdraw after this time, they will be able to enter the vacant place from the qualifiers.
The dates and locations of the semi-finals are as follows:
Semi-final 1: April 18–20, 2025. Maconka, reservoir competition track no. 3 (30 people). The competition is organized by the Bátonyterenye-Maconkai Leisure and Sport Fishing Association (BSHE).

Semi-final 6: July 11–13, 2025. Kisvárda-Döge, Bertók Lake (40 people). The competition is organized by the Géberjén Small Bass Fishing Association.
The number of participants from the semi-finals to the semi-finals is determined in proportion to the number of participants in the semi-finals. 100% is equal to 80 competitors. The final group of participants in the semi-finals is determined based on the results of the last semi-final. Competitors from the semi-finals do not carry their scores with them to the semi-finals. The 80 competitors who advance from the semi-finals are supplemented by the competitor who finished in the top 40 of the previous year's carp fishing rod ranking list, and thus 120 competitors will advance to the semi-finals of the championship.
In the semi-finals, the top 40 competitors from the previous year's ranking list and the 80 competitors who qualified from the semi-finals will be drawn by public draw for the three different competition tracks, with 40 competitors per track, in a way that the competitors are distributed equally according to their rankings and semi-finals. In the semi-finals, the top 8 competitors from the ranking list (2 competitors per sector) will be selected. In the event of a withdrawal, the next competitor from the overall ranking of the semi-finals will have the opportunity to start.
The dates and locations of the championship semi-finals:
September 11–14, 2025. Koroncó, Torma Lake; Kiskunhalas, Ezüst-tó and Paks, competition lake no. 6. The competition is organized by the Carp Anglers' Sport Fishing Association, the Haldorádó Feeder Fishing Association and the Paks Nuclear Power Plant Fishing Association.
The top 13-13-13 competitors from the three locations will advance to the finals, and in addition to these, the competitor who achieved the best placing number (in case of equal points, the weight caught will decide) and achieved 14th place will be added to the finalists.
The championship final will take place between September 25 and 28, 2025 in Székesfehérvár, on the Palotaváros Upper Lake. The championship final will be organized by the Fejér County Association of Fishing Associations. In the final, the top 12 players in the ranking list (3 players per sector) will be selected.
