📜 Rules:

🎯 Fishing method:

You can only fish using the Method method.
With a stick, with a hook on it.
The leader must be max. 25 cm, made of monofilament line only, with a barbless hook.
The use of braided casting lines is permitted, max. length: 7 m.
A full length braided leader on a feeder rod is also permitted.

🥣 Feeding:

You can only feed them with a feeding basket.
No other fishing gear may be in the water during feeding!
The use of dry seeds is strictly prohibited!
The amount of feed is limited as stated in the National Freestyle Method regulations.

🐟 Fish treatment, evaluation:

Every fish caught counts, but gentle treatment is mandatory!

Required equipment:

2 competition fish tanks, at least 3 meters long
Carp mattress
2 carp bags

A fish tank can hold a maximum of 20 kg of fish – if there is more in it, it still only counts as 20 kg.
Fish over 7 kg must be weighed immediately - the weighers must be notified after catching them!
Until the scales arrive, large fish should only be stored in carp bags.
Any fish caught before the end of the competition will count towards the competition.

📍 Competition procedure:

The competition takes place in 3 or 4 sectors, depending on the number of entrants.

🚗 Driving rules, traffic:

Access to the areas behind the racetrack is only possible from the Lukácsháza side, on the road behind the embankment, in rain-free weather, with a permit.
It is forbidden to drive onto embankments and dams!
Access to the grassy area on the side of the Gyöngyös stream is strictly prohibited by water regulations, therefore a handcart or wheelbarrow is recommended for transporting equipment.
When applying, it is mandatory to provide the vehicle registration number and an email address for the entry permit!

⚠️ Despite the coastal improvements made in the winter, the shoreline is still rough in some places and can be dangerous - everyone should choose their fishing spot with extra care!

🏆 Awards:

In a complex competition: 1st–3rd place will receive a prize.
By sector: 1st–3rd place winners will also receive special recognition.
The value of the prizes depends on the number of entrants, but is expected to be of the usual high standard!
