We planted 39 tons of carp on Friday

According to the fish farmer, the bream and predator stocking operations supported by the MOHOSZ grant will have to wait a little longer, but in the meantime, the carp stocking operations included in the annual framework contract and postponed due to the extreme water shortage and heat wave in the summer will continue.

Unfortunately, water shortages of varying degrees still persist in several of our water areas, but taking into account the water temperature, we are trying to meet the needs of local fishermen by reducing the stocking quantities and refreshing the fish stocks available for fishing.
As a result, 39 tons of catchable carp were brought from the Tógazda Halászati ZRT. Nagyberk site on Friday, October 16th to the following waters of the Association:

Csánig mining lake: 350 kg
Celldömölk Brickyard Pond: 350 kg
Rába River, Nick section: 300 kg
Rábasömjén Lake: 350 kg
Ikervár section of the Rába River: 250 kg
Rába Ikervár artificial canal: 300 kg
Půspökmolnár gravel pit lake: 250 kg
Vasvári Boating Lake: 400 kg
Magyarszecsőd gravel pit lake: 400 kg
Szombathely Fishing Lake: 350 kg
Gencsapáti Fishing Lake: 350 kg
Csepreg Brick Factory Pond: 250 kg

As we previously announced, based on our Association's fishing plans and the submitted application, bream stocking will continue at the end of October and during November, depending on the quantity caught, and predatory (I. and II. summer perch) stocking is also expected.

We also plan to stock extra-large carp on our two larger lakes, which are popular with lure anglers, during the fall.

Our association works together with the associations to ensure that every angler has enjoyable recreation and excellent fishing opportunities on the Vasi Vizes!
We are confident that the newly released fish will provide many beautiful experiences and memorable catches for the rest of the year.

The possibility of personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) at the Association's customer service office in Vaskerestes is available by prior appointment from January 6, 2026.
