We planted 108 kg of pike in two lakes
On Thursday afternoon, a total of 108 kg of mixed-age pike landed in our two favorite water areas! 50 kg of pike arrived in the Rábasömjén gravel mine lake, while 58 kg arrived in the Mersevát lake with the cooperation of Szombathelyi Halászmester Kft.
Among the fish planted were pike of the first and second summer, weighing between 0.4 and 2 kg. If we all take care of the young fish, we can soon catch some nice pike.
We also managed to replace the predatory fish that were not planted on Lake Merseváti last year due to unfavorable water conditions.
We ask our anglers to be particularly gentle when unhooking and releasing predators that are undersized or just slightly larger than the minimum size (40 cm), giving the predators a chance to develop and reproduce.
Our association works together with the associations to offer every angler a joyful recreation and wonderful fishing experiences on the Vasi Vizes!

The possibility of personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) at the Association's customer service office in Vaskerestes is available by prior appointment from January 6, 2026.
