VASI VIZEKEN-GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAIT DÖRÖSKE CUP - TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The second round of the hobby adult and youth category of the competition series called The Best Sportfisherman on Vasi Vizeken, the VASIVIZEKEN–GARBOLINO–TACKLEBAIT DÖRÖSKE CUP, will be held on May 9–10, 2026. The youth competitors will start on Saturday, while the hobby adult category will take over the lakeshore on Sunday. The competitors in the competitive category will compete a week later, on May 17, in Döröske.
We received 13 youth and 30 adult hobby fishermen registrations for the weekend competition. The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations considers the following entry lists as final :

Important change in the youth competition schedule!
The schedule for Saturday's youth competition will be slightly modified from the originally announced schedule:
- Registration starts at 8:00 (1 hour later than the original 7:00)
- The preparation time will be shorter, about 1 hour.
- The start time of the competition remains unchanged: 10:00
- The competition lasts until 2:00 PM.
There are no changes in the hobby adult category, the Sunday competition will be held at the original scheduled times.

According to preliminary plans, the juniors will draw for places 1–13 on Saturday. Three sectors will be designated for the adults:
- Sector “A”: 1–10
- Sector “B”: 11–19
- Sector “C”: 20–30
On Saturday, there will be a full-day anniversary event in Dörösk, to which the organizers warmly welcome everyone. During the day, community programs await those interested, information about which can be found by clicking here.

We would like to inform fellow anglers that on May 9, 2026 (Saturday) and May 10, 2026 (Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect for anglers not registered for the competition due to a fishing competition at the Döröske Reservoir.
