On Sunday, May 14, 2023, the third round of the Best Sports Angler on Vasi Vizeken ABÉRT-TÓ KUPA VASI VIZEKEN-GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAIT organized by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations will take place on the Abért Lakes. A total of 60 people entered the competition in three categories.

In the competition category, the absolute extreme places in each competition will be highlighted this year as well. Anglers who have been drawn to the outermost places are no longer allowed to sit in the outermost places at the other stations of the competition series, which aims to equalize the chances.
In the first round of the Gersekarát Karát Cup, Zoltán Török (Elektromosok SHE.) and Gábor Hajba (Elektromosok SHE.) took their places on both sides of the track. in the round of the Kéthatár-tó Cup in Kerkaval, the outermost places belonged to sports partners László Magyar (Elektromosok SHE.) and Attila Borsos (Spartacus HE.), so they can no longer draw for an outermost place during the championship!

The group collection permit valid for the competition and any training before it - from Friday to Sunday - can be found and downloaded at the end of this article, among the attached documents, and has also been sent to the e-mail addresses provided. The entrance is only valid for using the roads behind the embankment. Driving onto the embankment is strictly FORBIDDEN! The permit must be displayed in a clearly visible place behind the windshield during training and competition.

According to preliminary plans, the 22 competitors will be divided into three sectors, which will be designated on the Lukácsháza side of the lake. The 31 pecs starting in the hobby adult category will take place in three sectors, two of which will be on the side parallel to the Gyöngyös stream, while the other will be on the side facing the dam. Since there are no more starting places suitable for racing on the Abért II lake, the IFs will compete on the Abért I lake.

The regulations and innovations introduced on a trial basis last year have been tested well, so they remain in force:

All competitors must place 2 fish bags in the water at the beginning of the competition after the limit check. No more than 20 kg of fish can be stored in a fish tank. If the competitor's catch reaches 20 kg, he must also use a second fish holder. If additional fish holding bags are not available and the amount of fish caught is justified, the competitor may request an interim evaluation. During the weighing, if the amount of fish in one bag exceeds the prescribed maximum amount of 20 kg, then the catch above the specified limit is already considered invalid.

The two-round County Team Championship is an exception to this rule, as it is also the County Individual Championship, for which the draw has been conducted in a controlled manner.

In the hobby category, the use of a carp cradle or edged carp mattress is mandatory during all competitions.

We would also like to inform our fellow anglers that on May 14, 2023 (Sunday) from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be a general ban on the Abért I and Abért II fishing competitions for anglers who have not entered the competition.
