The final round of the hobby category of the competition entitled The Best Sport Angler of the Vasi Waters was held in Magyarszecsőd on June 11, 2022. Finally, a fishing competition began on Saturday morning with 26 of the 38 people pre-registered.

The youngsters were divided into a triple, the adults into a 7-person and two 8-person sectors. Organizers and riders were also looking forward to seeing the end of the day. In addition to curiosity, there was also excitement, as the overall standings of the competition series showed a close picture in the hobby category. In the adult field, the first four places were within 4 points of each other and those who followed them were not far behind either. It was mandatory for anyone who wanted to finish in a medal to get a good result in Saturday's final competition.

At 4:30 a.m., the 4-hour race was started, where, according to the usual rules, 1 rod could be used at a time, but the choice of a floating or bottoming method was the angler's decision. The windy but nice sunny weather made its mark on the fish, and today's catches weren't really outstanding either.

Within a few minutes after the start of the competition, Ferenc Kisörsi (Vas m. Savaria SHE.) Herded a carp weighing almost 6 kg in sector "B". Similarly, Andrea Sántáné Tóth (HE. Körmendi Munkás) started the first throw.

After the initial quiet period, several switched from small fishing to feeder rod pecs and tried the inner parts of the lake. In the second half of the competition, the Amur lakes started, of which Gábor Szabó (Spartacus HE) fished three and Tibor Pajtli (Spartacus HE.) Six beautiful specimens.

The deliberations began at the beginning of the designated course with the youngsters. The young people were very challenged by Lake Magyarszecsőd, this time they did not manage to drive too many fish into the mouth. The best of the day with 260 grams of small fish was Gersei Milán (Körmendi Munkás HE.) , The second was Vogl Zalán (Spartacus HE.) And the third was Bors Ivett (Spartacus HE.) . Unfortunately, they did not manage to catch any fish, so the places were allocated according to the competition rules.

Fortunately, adults made better catches, but it could be said that they didn’t have an easy thing to do either. In the end, Tibor Pajtli (Spartacus HE.) Won with a placement of 13,080 grams . This year, Tibor also won the Kéthatár-tó Cup and the Abért Cup, so with this outstanding result he became the best sport angler of Vasi VIzek among the hobby anglers this year.

Gábor Szabó (Spartacus HE.) Also finished in second place with 1 place number 9220 grams .

As a bronze medalist , Gábor Bálint (Körmendi Munkás HE.) Closed with a catch of 6640 grams.

Andrea Sántáné Tóth (HE. Körmendi Munkás) received a special prize as the best female competitor.
