For the eighth time, the Pinka Valley Fish Day will be held at the Iron Cross, at the Alpine Reception and Fishing Tourism Center on Saturday, July 9, 2022.

The organizers, the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Anglers' Associations, consider it important that this day should be for the public and families interested in fishing and fish dishes.

The friendly fishing competition will be held this year as well, and with the participation of families and groups of friends, better food will be prepared in the fish food competition. This year, the organizers are preparing a real curiosity for the lovers of gastronomy: the kitchen of the Halimádók kitchen will host the event, where Zoltán Andrejszky will cook .

A new element in the fish food tasting palette will be the fish sausage marketed by Panarini, which is a unique product novelty stuffed into edible sheep casings with a fish meat content of over 90%. One of the main components of the company is the home-grown sturgeon in Keszthely, which belongs to the top category of fish. The atmosphere around the house of the cooking teams is great every year, after the service they are welcome to have a taste.

The HKD Gradisce dance group in St. Petersburg will perform in the event space of the Alpine Inn in the afternoon, after which we can see the program of the Iron Cross Tradition Preservers. After the greetings and the solemn announcement of the results, the little ones can gather in front of the stage, as the band Alma performs. The most catchy hits can be sung with the band by the youngest fans with their parents. Children will also enjoy a balloon canoe, a slippery air castle, fish toys, face painting and a clown show in the afternoon . There will also be a wine tasting at the event, courtesy of Mittl Winery . It will be possible to taste the fish dishes with a contribution of five hundred forints: those interested can taste fish soup, fried fish, fish burger and fishmonger.

Valuable prizes will be drawn in the evening raffle this year as well. The day ends with a concert by the band Žgano .
