The winner of the Molnári Lake Cup was László Ozsvári Lehel.
The Vasi Vizeken-Garbolino-TackleBait Molnári-tó Cup ended on Sunday, which was also the last round of the hobby adult category of the Vasi Vizeken Legbögb Sportförgásza competition series for 2026. The round was held at the Döröskei Reservoir instead of the originally planned Püspökmolnári-tó, because due to the drought, low rainfall and extremely hot weather, the water level of Püspökmolnári-tó did not allow the competition to be held safely.
Despite the change of venue, the program and the competition remained the same: registration began on Sunday morning, and then the last round of the hobby category this year kicked off in three sectors. According to the competition announcement, the field had four hours of fishing, and the weighing began at 1:30 p.m.
- Quiet start, difficult path
26 competitors finally showed up for the morning registration, so the competition took place in three sectors, with a field of 9, 9 and 8 people.
The first half of the competition was not easy fishing. In the cooler morning weather, mainly smaller fish showed up, and in addition, dwarf catfish also found many anglers, which made it even more difficult to catch targeted fish.
With the later warming up, the course started to pick up a bit, and nicer bream and bream were caught. In the middle and back part of the course, several carp weighing around 2 kilograms were also hooked. As a special feature of the day, two or three nice bream also added color to the catches.
The round once again showed that there is not necessarily one sure recipe for success in Dörösk. Some people searched for fish at shorter distances, others on longer lines or further away, while some competitors relied on continuously catching smaller fish, while others trusted in larger carp. Based on the final results, neither approach proved to be unbeatable in itself, this time it was primarily adaptability that decided.
- László Ozsvári Lehel was the best
At the end of the weighing, Ozsvári László Lehel was happy with his victory in the round. Fishing in sector C, he finished in first place with a catch of 9910 grams, which alone is nearly 12 percent of the fish weighed in the entire competition.
Tamás Tőke came in second, winning first place in sector B with 8,120 grams, while Róbert Horváth came in third, the best in sector A with a catch of 5,270 grams.
Together, the three of them caught 23.3 kilograms of fish, or more than 28 percent of the total "catch".

The 26-person field weighed a total of 82,810 grams of fish. This meant an average catch of 3,185 grams per competitor.
However, there were significant differences between sectors:
- Sector A: 1876 gram average
- Sector B: 3099 gram average
- Sector C: 4755 gram average
The numbers clearly show how different the course was. Sector C produced an average of more than two and a half times that of Sector A, and this is where the largest total catch of the round was also considered. This clearly shows that on this day, not only the skill of the angler and the chosen tactics, but also the draw and the characteristics of the given section of the course played a major role.

After the weighing, the competitors were awaited by the announcement of the results. The mayor of Döröske, Mrs. Horváthné Varga Marietta , also participated in the award ceremony, who honored the event with her presence. This time, Milán Kántor , one of the enthusiastic little helpers of the competition, also participated in the award ceremony of the cups.
Sunday's round concluded this year's series of the hobby category with a difficult, but even more interesting competition from a sports perspective. The Döröske course did not give the fish easy this time, and the field had to constantly adapt to the changing conditions.
