The Vasi Vizeken-Garbolino-TackleBait Molnári-tó Cup ended on Sunday, which was also the last round of the Vasi Vizeken Legjobb Sportfishing competition series for the hobby adult category in 2026. The round once again showed that there is not necessarily a single sure recipe for success in Döröske. Some people searched for fish at shorter distances, others on longer rods or further away, while some competitors relied on the continuous catch of smaller fish, while others trusted in larger carp. Based on the final results, neither approach proved to be unbeatable in itself, this time adaptability was the main deciding factor. At the end of the weighing, László Ozsvári Lehel could be happy with the victory of the round. Fishing in the AC sector, he finished in first place with a catch of 9910 grams, which in itself is nearly 12 percent of the fish weighed in the entire competition. Second place went to Tamás Tőke, who took first place in sector B with 8120 grams, while third place went to Róbert Horváth, the best in sector A with a catch of 5270 grams. Together, the three of them caught 23.3 kilograms of fish, or more than 28 percent of the total "catch". The other best results were: 4. Gábor Bálint – sector B, 2nd place – 7130 g 5. József Szabó – sector C, 2nd place – 6350 g 6. Milán Gersei – sector A, 2nd place – 2920 g The 26-person field weighed a total of 82,810 grams of fish. This meant an average catch of 3185 grams per competitor. However, there was a significant difference between the sectors: Sector A: 1876 gram average Sector B: 3099 gram average Sector C: 4755 gram average Sunday's round closed this year's series of the hobby category with a difficult, but even more interesting competition from a sports professional perspective. The Döröske course did not give the fish easily this time, and the field had to constantly adapt to the changing conditions. This concluded the last round of the 2026 hobby adult series of the Best Sport Angler in Vasi Vizeken.
