Our Fishing Tourism Center was beautified with nearly 15 million forints of MOHOSZ support

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has successfully implemented the development of the Alpine Inn and Fishing Tourism Center within the framework of the Hungarian National Fishing Association's Investment and Self-Participation Target Allocation (BÖBE-VI/1/2024). The project entitled "Small-scale infrastructure investments of fishing organizations for the development of fishing and fishing tourism services" was implemented under the support contract no. 784-1/2025.

The Alpine Inn and Fishing Tourism Center, built in 2006 and 100% owned by the Association, focuses on providing high-quality service to anglers and tourist guests. To this end, comprehensive energy-efficiency, safety and comfort-enhancing developments have been implemented within the project, which contribute to the sustainable and economical operation of the facility.

A key element of the investment was the expansion of the solar panel system to 17.8 kWp, which resulted in the institution's electricity demand being met entirely from renewable sources. The development reduces energy costs, reduces dependence on external service providers, stabilizes operating costs in the long term, and also enables further expansion of the expected annual production and energy consumption.

The project included the insulation of the building's doors and windows, the renovation of the window sills, the replacement of an air conditioner, and the renovation of the bathrooms, toilets, communal and office spaces used for nearly twenty years in the guest rooms and administrative office of the Fishing Tourism Center. In order to modernize the accommodation services, a smart door handle and access control system was introduced, and the building's security technology was also renewed with modern alarm and smoke detector systems.

In order to increase guest comfort, full kitchens have been installed in the Cabernet Sauvignon, Kékfrankos and Aranyhárs apartments, which strengthens the market competitiveness of the inn with the possibility of self-sufficiency. The provision of services for larger events and fishing tourism is facilitated by the purchase of a mobile toilet with a hand wash basin. In addition, the furniture in the staff kitchen has been completely replaced and the related tiling work has been completed.

As a result of the developments, the energy efficiency, safety, service level and operational efficiency of the Alpine Inn and Fishing Tourism Center have significantly improved, contributing to the economic stability of the Association, strengthening fishing tourism and increasing the attractiveness of the region.

The project was implemented between October 30, 2024 and January 31, 2026 at the headquarters of the Association (9795 Vaskeresztes, 165/4. hrsz.). The total budget of the investment is HUF 17,646,141 net , for which the Hungarian National Anglers' Association provided 85%, net HUF 14,990,220 support .
