MM Fischig-Team won the Pairs Dwarf Catfish Team Competition
The Pairs Team Competition was held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Lukácsháza, on Lake Abért II. A total of 44 anglers, i.e. 22 teams, participated in the competition. We received a short report from Imre Gerencsér, the main organizer of the competition, which we are now publishing.
Although the weather was not kind to us - cloudy, windy, and rainy weather greeted the participants - the atmosphere was still excellent, with good humor and sportsmanship characterizing the day.
Unfortunately, three teams did not manage to catch any fish, but the other participants managed to catch a total of 32.201 kg of fish from the lake. The transport of the caught dwarfs was undertaken by the Spartacus 1 team, which we would like to thank!
Results
- Team competition:
🥇 1st place: MM Fischig-Team – Máté Rosta and Martin Bucsek – 5115 g
🥈 2nd place: AD Team – Andrea Sántáné Tóth and Dávid Sánta – 4305 g
🥉 3rd place: Treasures of Pannonia – Miklós Molnár and János Wehoffer – 3730 g
- Individual category:
🥇 1st place: Bucsek Martin – 2780 g
🥈 2nd place: Lajos Bonczó – 2505 g
🥉 3rd place: Dávid Sánta – 2390 g
- Women's individual:
🥇 1st place: Andrea Sántáné Tóth – 1915 g
🥈 2nd place: Anett Nemes – 930 g
- Youth individual:
🥇 1st place: Gyula Szakács – 1830 g
🥈 2nd place: László Czékus – 825 g
The winners received certificates, bait packages (line, bait, float), and various souvenirs. The winning team will be able to keep the traveling trophy prepared for the competition for one year.
The prizes were donated by VRSSE – Sárvári Gold Fish fishing shop, which we would like to thank with gratitude.
