The Répcelaki HE. held an association competition
We received the following report from Attila Kádi, the president of the association, about this year's association fishing competition of the Répcelak Fishing Association. It is a special pleasure for us to see that such a cohesive, active fishing community operates in Répcelak year after year, where in addition to competition, great emphasis is placed on community building, families and the involvement of children.
28 anglers initially registered for this year's adult and youth fishing competition of the Répcelak Fishing Association. After the morning registration, the opening ceremony and the draw, 20 adult and 4 youth competitors finally took their places on Lake Csánig, where the four-hour competition began.
During the preparation period, the enthusiastic helpers of the association took care of the participants' breakfast: they welcomed the competitors with freshly baked sausages, who happily sat down to have a shared breakfast after unpacking.

The competition started at 8 am. Due to the inclement weather, many people chose to fish for small fish, which proved successful. Although there were few carp on the hook this time, the more experienced competitors still managed to catch some nice specimens.

While the fishermen competed on the waterfront, the visiting children also had fun. On the shore, they were treated to a plush fish-catching skill competition, a fish-matching game, and fish-identification tasks. The children enthusiastically and skillfully completed the challenges, and their performance was recognized with a reward. It was a joy to see the enthusiasm and smiles of the youngest ones.

At the end of the competition, there was a weighing and the announcement of results, which was followed by a shared lunch.
