The new playground was inaugurated next to Lake Döröskei
Döröske's joy: the new playground offers many new, beautiful and safe games for the community of the village, as well as the family members of fishermen who come to the lake. Erika Dománé Tóth, mayor of Döröske, greeted the crowd who came to the inauguration of the playground built as part of the Hungarian Village Program.
The project won HUF 6 million in support from the municipality, which was supplemented with their own resources - thus the playground could be realized to the delight of the children and their parents, which was already completed in June, but still had to wait for approval. Due to the bad weather, the inauguration could only be held in the village hall. The playground includes a combined (three-part) swing, but there is also a boat: with a climbing wall, a rope net and a slide. A combined climbing castle with a roof has been built, and a spring-loaded duck is also hiding. In all cases, the manufacturer and contractor was a Hungarian company.
There was no on-site testing, but instead, the children had balloon folding, face painting, greasy bread, and even a clown. Instead of the planned fishing demonstration, fishing competitions were organized for the children.
In his speech, parliamentarian Zsolt V. Németh referred to the wording of the invitation when he said how nice it is to go to "the big willow tree by the lake" and navigate. There is something personal, kind, close to people in this, not like dry GPS data or road information. The appeal of the settlements is something like this, personal and heart-warming.
In the case of Döröske, Girbegurba street, the lake, the Árpád-era church, the balance collection, or the vineyard hill are also attractive here. He pointed out: when the Hungarian Village Program was created, it was done together with the locals and is still being done. The people who live there always decide what are the most important development directions for them, what are their desires and ideas. They can receive subsidies based on the following: where there is a road or sidewalk, where else a small tractor or village bus is needed. It is a great joy when development becomes necessary for the children: they symbolize the strength, renewal and future of the village. And in the changed world, even village children require similar toys - and playgrounds - as their city counterparts.
