The Government Office organizes a fish guard exam
We would like to inform those interested that the Vas County Government Office will organize a fish guard exam in Szombathely on June 26, 2026. Below we publish the application requirements, exam details, and the information and study materials necessary for preparation.

Fee for the professional fish guard and community fish guard exam: HUF 5,000

- Structure of the exam
The exam consists of two parts:
1. Fish recognition
Fish recognition from projected images.
Topics:
fish species that can be caught
protected fish species
invasive fish species
prohibition times
size and quantity restrictions
You must correctly identify at least 16 of the 20 fish species presented.
2. Test exam
Written test consisting of 100 questions.
The condition for successful completion is: minimum 65%.
