The extended grace period will remain in Gyöngyös until the end of 2026
In appreciation of the positive feedback, the previously experimentally extended protection section on the Gyöngyös stream and the relevant fishing regulations (from the Gulner mill to the Gencsapáti switchyard /Római dam/, GPS: 47°17'37.3"N 16°35'29.8"E) were extended by the Executive Committee of our Association until December 31, 2026, in its resolution No. I-19/2026 adopted on 07. 05. 2026, in order to ensure the experience of fast trout fishing, the protection of the fish species, and close-to-nature, sporting fishing in the longer term.

Based on the above, the following rules apply on the section from Gulner Mill to Gencsapáti Switchgear, based on the current fishing regulations:
- Fishing is only allowed with 1 rod and 1 single-barred hook on the specified section of the stream!
- The fishing methods that can be used are artificial fly fishing and spinning fishing, exclusively with artificial bait without the use of any bite indicators!
- The use of a dip net, wet cloth and hook release device is mandatory! Fishing can only be started with the listed equipment!
- All fish caught in the marked section must be released back into the water immediately after being gently unhooked!

We would like to draw the attention of T. Fishing Association members to the fact that any violation of the above rules is considered a violation of the fishing regulations in force, so our Association will always report the change to the competent Fisheries Authority. In addition to electronic publication, the change will also be announced in as many places as possible on paper in the affected section.
We also inform the T. Horgásztársak that if the decision regarding the extended grace period adversely affects someone, they can request the invalidation of their regional ticket by sending an e-mail to info@vasivizeken.hu until May 31, 2026. The Association will refund the price of the invalidated regional ticket pro rata.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!
