The development of the Döröskei Reservoir has reached a spectacular milestone!
Significant progress has been made in recent weeks in the development of the new fishing organization base point at Lake Döröskei. Following the landscaping and earthworks that began at the end of April, the mobile garage provided as part of the program arrived a few weeks ago, and now the 34 m² mobile base point building has been put in place with the help of a crane.
The development is being implemented with the support of the Hungarian National Fishing Association, within the framework of the “Unified Fishing Association Base Point Development” program. The base point will consist of a nearly 22 m² community space, an office and a kitchenette, to which a 28 m² terrace is connected. As part of the project, barrier-free water blocks, a modern entry system, as well as the furniture and service infrastructure necessary for operation will also be developed.
Although the interior design and exterior landscaping are expected to take another 2-3 months, the most important milestones of the investment have already been achieved. The current move-in is a moment that clearly shows that the plans are becoming a tangible reality for our goals on the banks of the Döröskei Reservoir.
Our goal is to complete a community base this year that will serve anglers, families, tourists and event participants in a dignified manner. A location will be created that will strengthen the life of Döröske and the surrounding settlements and the fishing tourism appeal of the region in the long term.

We also owe thanks to our fisheries guard colleagues, who did a significant job in preparing the area, coordinating the work and arranging the site.

Of course, we have even bigger plans and goals in this area, but their implementation requires more time, thorough preparation and significant additional resources. We believe that lasting results can be built step by step, which is why we always implement developments in line with our capabilities, knowledge and available support.
However, we are already very happy that we have come this far and are proud of what we have achieved through our joint work. We trust that the progress will be felt by everyone and that we can all rejoice together in every new step forward for the future of the Döröskei Reservoir.
