The County Individual and Team Championships and the UP Championships will also take place this weekend.
This year's GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAIT - Vas County Individual and Team Championship will be held on September 19-20, 2026, at the Abért-II lake in Lukácsháza, organized by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations, in which 4-person teams of the member associations of our Association will participate. In addition to the traveling cup and souvenirs, the winning team of the County Team Championship will also win an entry right for one of the 2027 National Club Team Championships. The Vas County Youth Championship competition will also take place on the first day of the CSB.
The Vas County Individual Adult Champion will be announced based on the combined results achieved in the two rounds of the Vas County Team Championship. The individual sector results achieved in the individual rounds of the Vas County Team Championship will continue to be counted separately in the competitor category of the Vas Waters Best Sport Angler competition series.
In our series announcement, we have stated that the absolute extreme places in each competitor category will be highlighted. Anglers drawn to extreme places may not sit in extreme places at further stages of the series. However, due to the traditional organization of the county CSB and the previously customary method of drawing lots, this rule will not be applied in this competition!
Participating anglers must have a valid daily ticket or an annual area ticket for any federal water on the day of the competition, but a valid MOHOSZ competitor card is not required to participate.
During the competition, 1 rod can be used at a time, and a maximum of 1 single-barred hook can be used on the rig. Only float fishing is allowed!
Competition schedule: The competition will be held in two 4-hour rounds.
- 7.00–7.15 Registration
- 7.15–7.45 Opening, draw by the Organizing Committee
- 7.45–9.50 Seating, preparation time
- 9.50–10.00 Feeding
- 10.00–14.00 Fishing
- 14.00–15.00 Reflection
- 15.00–15.30 Evaluation
- 15.30 Announcement of results

The permit is only valid on paper and must be placed in a clearly visible place behind the windshield. Entry is only valid for the use of the roads behind the embankment as shown in the figure. Driving onto the embankment and dams is strictly prohibited! Entry into the grassy area on the side of the Gyöngyös stream is not permitted due to water regulations.
We would like to draw the attention of all entrants to the fact that the shore of the Abért Lake race course may be eroded or broken off in some places. When choosing a fishing spot, everyone should pay due attention to this in order to avoid accidents!

According to preliminary plans, the 32 competitors from the 8 teams will be drawn into four sectors, each of which will be designated on the Lukácsháza side of the lake.

The Vas County Individual Youth Championship will once again be held on Saturday, September 19th, at Lake Abért-II, in parallel with the Team Championship.
The youth championship is open to junior competitors who are members of one of the associations of the Vas County Fishing Association, and to both genders in the U25 age group who have not reached the age of 25 by December 31 of the year preceding the championship.
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations considers the following entry list to be final:

FISHING BAN ON ABERT II LAKE!
On September 19 (Saturday) and September 20 (Sunday), 2026, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be a general ban on fishing for anglers not registered for the competition on the Lukácsháza settlement and Gyöngyös stream side of Lake Abért II due to a fishing competition.
