The 2nd correspondence round of the School Competition has ended.
13 teams submitted their solutions to the second correspondence round of the XXI. Vasi Vizeken Primary School Fishing Competition. While correcting the submitted works, we were pleased to see that the participating students demonstrated thorough preparation this year as well. In both the first and second rounds, many excellent, sophisticated solutions were received, which well reflected the teams' knowledge of fish, nature and fishing.
Seeing the teams' performance, the Organizing Committee decided that this year all teams will have the opportunity to continue! Accordingly, we cordially invite all 13 participating teams, who proved their ability and enthusiasm during the correspondence rounds, to the on-site final .

The most important rules of the fishing competition
- Teams are assigned to a competition by drawing lots. During the competition, two children can fish at a time, while the other two team members can act as helpers.
- A condition for participation is that each team arrives with at least one adult companion (teacher, parent or other helper).
- The organizers will provide one 3-meter and one 4-meter pole per team, as well as the necessary basic equipment, but you can also use your own, unrubberized, maximum 4-meter pole and spare equipment.
- The teams must provide bait and bait. The maximum amount of bait is 2 kilograms.
- The fish caught will be evaluated by weight, so each team should bring at least one ringed fish net and a hook remover.
Determining the final order
The overall result of the competition is based on three partial results:
- Correspondence round placement number
- on-site theoretical round placement number
- fishing competition ranking number
The team with the lowest overall ranking wins the 21st Vasi Vizeken Primary School Fishing Competition. In the event of a tie, the result of the correspondence round will decide.
We would like to congratulate all participating teams on their achievements so far, and wish them good luck in preparing for the final!
See you on June 16th in Vaskeresztes!
