Technical information for the Döröske children's competition
Registration for the Children's Day Fishing Competition to be held in Dörösk on June 1, 2025 is closed, a total of 30 people have submitted valid entries in three categories. Considering the characteristics of the lake, we are unable to accept any further applications. Thank you for your interest!
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations and the Sárvíz Lake HE consider the following entry lists as final.

Competition details:
- Location: Döröskei Reservoir
- Date: June 1, 2025 (Sunday)
- Categories: Kindergarteners, Lower School Students (Grades 1–4), Upper School Students (Grades 5–8)

08:00 – Gathering
08:00–08:30 – Opening, draw
08:30–09:00 – Seating, preparation
09:00–11:00 – Fishing
11:00–11:30 – Reflection
11:30–11:45 – Evaluation
11:45 – Announcement of results
Important rules:
- A valid state fishing license is required for each child.
- One rod, one hook, float or bottom method
- The use of ring nets is mandatory.
- Bait/bait: unlimited, but the use of mosquito larvae is prohibited!
- All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children fish independently, but parents can help with rigging and bagging.
Remuneration:
The top three winners in each category will receive valuable gifts, and we have prepared a little surprise for every entrant! [🎉]

Important notice:
We would like to inform fellow anglers that on June 1, 2025 (Sunday) between 07:00 and 12:00 there will be a general fishing ban in the entire area of Lake Döröskei for anglers not registered for the competition!
We look forward to welcoming the competing children and their parents for a day full of experiences!
