Our association also presented itself at ÖKO-EXPO
On Friday of the 1st Szombathely ÖKO-EXPO, the Haladás Sports Complex turned into a real children's paradise. On Friday, several hundred schoolchildren arrived in groups for the event, and the stand of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations was constantly bustling with life throughout the day. Exciting, interactive games awaited the children at the stand, who were happy to try out their "fishing" knowledge and skills.
In the online trial fishing test, they tested themselves in fish recognition and fishing rules, the plush fish catching game created a real competitive atmosphere, as everyone aimed to catch the most fish, and the fish puzzle was put together again and again with meticulous teamwork and smiles.
During the programs, our colleagues received several questions: about the basics of fishing, fish species, and the wildlife of the Vásárlón waters. It was a joy to experience that young people are interested in nature and the world of the Vásárlón waters. Of course, the most skillful ones were not left without a reward: many delicious sweets and promotional gifts were placed in their pockets during the day.
The ÖKO-EXPO, organized by the Vas County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took place over three days in the spirit of sustainability, green transition and environmental awareness. It is of utmost importance for our association that children can learn about fishing and the world of water in a playful way, as they are the nature-friendly generation of the future.
