Our association also participated in the charity cookout
The Asztalkő Festival - which is the summer farewell art, gastronomy and music festival of Kőszeghegyalja - was once again hosted by Velem, Kőszegszerdahely and Cák.
One of the locations for the communal cooking events organized for charity was the Cák Community House, where the organizers did everything they could to serve the cooking teams.
In addition to various delicious dishes made from pork, visitors to the luncheon were able to enjoy a Kőrös-Tiszai-style fish soup prepared by our Association representative Tamás Karácsonyi and his team, which served as a foundation for the afternoon and evening cultural and musical programs, as well as a wine tasting in the Cák cellar row, and the free food tasting was rewarded with charitable donations collected for the local children's community.
All the cooking teams did their best, and the audience had already eaten about 60 portions of our team's fish soup by 1:30 p.m., highlighting its excellent taste. The organizers finally awarded the dish we prepared with the prize for the best catch without a hook.
We congratulate the organizers and all the teams and thank our Association for the opportunity to contribute to the charitable goals of the event.
