On the occasion of Fish Day, we planted the Rába River together again
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations and the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Association of Sport Fishing Associations organized a joint fish stocking campaign to strengthen the native fish population of the Rába River and its tributaries. This joint initiative has been taking place for the third year in a row, as is tradition. And on Friday, we already contributed to the enrichment of the fish population of our waters with actions!

Fishing guides, anglers and visitors met at the Nicki artificial dam on the border of the Vas and Győr sections of the Rába River. The young people participating in the event were greeted by Norbert Puskás, the executive president of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations, and Dr. Zsuzsanna Ivancsóné Horváth. Before the fish stocking, they shared some thoughts about the significance of stocking river fish, as well as the message of Fish Day and World Water Day, highlighting the importance of water protection and sustainable fish farming.

We placed the fish with the help of our professional fish keepers, together with colleagues from the special legal entity of the MOHOSZ, Megafish Kft. from Baja. The following series of pictures clearly prove that young people are not only active in the world of smart devices, but also played their part in the fish stocking!
This year, we can say that we not only planted fish on Friday, but also conveyed an important message: together we can do something for nature and for native fish!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this initiative!
We would like to thank Attila Kádi, the president of the Répcelak Fishing Association, for his help in informing and organizing the children's fishermen!
We would like to thank our colleagues and Répce TV employee Krisztina Winkler for the photos!
