Maintenance work on the water's edge
As winter slowly bids farewell and nature prepares for spring renewal, our lakes are becoming more and more beautiful and tidy – all thanks to the collaboration of our colleagues and local communities! After the work on Lake Döröskei, smaller and larger communities across the county joined forces in accordance with previous traditions to contribute to the care of our waters.

In recent weeks, our dedicated fellow anglers, associations, and colleagues have been tirelessly beautifying the shores: removing dangerous trees and branches, maintaining reed patches, inspecting benches and other outdoor equipment, and preparing for spring maintenance work.
Our volunteers and fishery guards worked at several locations: waterfront maintenance work was carried out on Lake Répcelaki, Lake Merseváti, as well as on the Magyarszecsőd and Pinkamindszent lakes. On Lake Újperint I, a more significant maintenance is taking place together with the Spartacus Fishing Association, about which we will soon bring a detailed report.
Anyone who visits can already notice the results of the work of careful hands: cleaner, tidier shorelines await visitors.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all associations, volunteers and fellow anglers who spared no time and energy during the cold months to help ensure a well-maintained, orderly environment for water lovers in the spring.
The works will continue throughout the county in the spring, and in the coming weeks, nearly 20,000 kg of carp will arrive in the Vásárlón waters! This way, we will not only have tidy waterfronts for the season, but also waters rich in fish!
