Let's celebrate the 10th Pinka-Völgyi Fish Day together

Despite the flood situation and the difficulties, after a lot of preparatory work and trusting in the positive changes of the coming month, we will organize the Pinka Valley Fish Day again this year. Our goal is to forget the bitterness of the past few days together with the residents of the Pinka valley and spend a joyful day in Vaskeresztes. This year, the Pinka-Völgyi Halas Nap will be held for the tenth time, where we welcome everyone with magnificent fish dishes, exciting children's programs, and dance and music programs. Join us on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Vaskeresztes, in the area of the Alpesi Fogadó and Fishing Tourist Center!

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations is pleased to organize this day, which offers meaningful programs for lovers of fishing and fish dishes, as well as for families. In addition to the traditional friendly fishing competitions, plenty of gastronomic experiences await you. Despite the flood situation, we will do everything we can to ensure that the fishing competitions can take place without any disturbance. If inland waters intervene due to the weather or the events of the past period, the affected parties will be notified before the competition.

Our fish sauce cooking and fish food preparation competition is guaranteed to take place, where the participating teams will be waiting with more and more delicious dishes. Try the special fish dishes, such as fish soup, fried fish, smoked trout and other fish specialties! You can do all this for a sponsor contribution of HUF 1,000 per fish dish.

The afternoon programs, which can be visited free of charge, start in the Alpesi Fogadó event space a few minutes after 2:00 p.m. with the show of the Vaskeresztes traditionalists and the ceremonial announcement of the results. Children will be treated to a candy show and a performance by BRANDNYÚL, as well as entertainment programs throughout the afternoon, such as a balloon canaan, a bouncy castle with a slide, and face painting, all free of charge. The atmosphere is provided by the Körmendi Brass Band, who will perform in front of BRANDNYÚL with their atmospheric concert.

Fishing enthusiasts can learn new techniques and learn about the latest products at the Tacklebait presentation. In addition, the Mittl winery treats visitors to a wine tasting so that, in addition to the fish, everyone can also get to know the excellent wines of the Vas Mountain.

Valuable prizes await you at the evening raffle, then the Sary Lilyum belly dance group and Áron Sövegjártó, an actor from the Madách Theater, will entertain the audience with a humorous musical show. The evening ends with an impressive fire juggling show.
