Great catches in the IX. Freestyle Method Feeder OB. in the semi-finals in Lukácsháza
The OB started on Saturday, May 11. Two days of competition for his No. 5 semi-final. The Lake Abért competition started with 39 people and already in the first round there were more and more beautiful catches.
In keeping with its reputation, Abért-tó surprised the field with a fantastic pec during the entire weekend. On Saturday, Csaba Fekete was the best, with his catch of 72 kg, but the lead was tight. On the first day, the total catch was over 1 ton, although some people caught less than planned, but no one had a reason to complain.
Lake Abért welcomed the competitors coolly on the morning of the 2nd turn. The promised rain luckily avoided the lake at the foot of the mountains, but the warm clothes were sold in the cool early morning wind. The draw turned out to be exciting, as several competitors who finished in front on the previous day were placed in a sector. The fishing started fast at the beginning, but later on, as the sun got stronger and stronger, the events accelerated. In addition to short distances, longer ones of up to 90 meters could also work. A good change of pace, fast carp fishing or carp fishing after building up short distances was also effective.
Csaba Fekete's explosive catch of 77,500 grams became the most catch of the competition, the skilful competitor produced a total of 150 kg and won the semi-final with 2 points. Gergely Lisztes also finished in second place with 2 points, Levente Gaál managed to grab the third place with 3 points.
The limit for magical advancement was 5 points, which one competitor managed, Tamás Laczi, advanced with 5 points. In 5th place, Bálint Tolnai already has 4 points, and in 4th place, László Juhász can also enjoy the semi-finals with 4 points.
This year's was also a great competition, with an average catch of 34 kg, during which a total of 2672 kg of fish was hooked. During the announcement of the results, Csaba Polyák, on behalf of MOHOSZ, expressed his gratitude to the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations for the help in the organization and course design. After that, he presented the results and called the best ones to the podium, and then the awards were presented with the help of Norbert Puskás, the Executive Chairman of the County Association.
