Feeding ban at the Szombathely Boating and Fishing Pier!

Due to the recent extreme lack of rainfall, the water level of the Szombathely Boating Lake and the Fishing Lake has dropped significantly. Under such circumstances, any additional organic matter and decaying food material entering the water further burdens the water, so the most important thing now is to preserve the available water quality as much as possible and protect the fish population.

For this reason, our Association has imposed a complete feeding ban on both lakes, which will remain in effect until further notice!

This decision is not easy for anyone. However, in order to continue enjoying the joy of fishing in healthy, fish-rich waters in the future, this is a responsible and essential step. With a little patience and attention, we can do a lot to ensure that the wildlife of the lakes survives this difficult period.

We will review the situation as soon as circumstances improve.
