Farewell to Lake Sárvíz in Gersekarát, an era has ended

On January 31, 2025, a chapter will close that was not just a job for us, but also a profession and a matter of the heart. Over the past 16 years, we have created not only a well-maintained waterfront and facilities, but also a community of which you, anglers, families, friends, have all been a part.

Last Friday, we officially handed over the outdoor elements and facilities of Lake Sárvíz to the Gersekarát Municipality and the new user, the Sárvíz-tavi Szabadidőpark És Strand Nkft., who will welcome anglers from February 1, 2025. With this, an era has ended, but the moments we experienced with you – the joy of the first catches, the silence of the summer dawn, the programs and competitions we built together – will remain in our hearts forever. [

We are grateful to everyone who was a part of this journey in some way – whether as an angler, a helper or a supporter.
Although we say goodbye, the work does not stop. We continue to work to make the waters of Vas County even more beautiful and richer in fish. And we sincerely wish the new operator successful and productive work on this wonderful lake. If life brings it, we are always ready to return and build the future of Lake Sárvíz together again.

In the meantime, if you are looking for a similarly magical place, we are waiting for you in Döröske in the spring. A new adventure will begin there - with the same enthusiasm and love with which we worked here. This week we have already started the maintenance work on the Döröske waterfront, so that we can welcome everyone with cultured conditions and enough space for the next season.
