Extra and catchable size carp already in the water
During the Wednesday stocking, a total of 1,452.3 kg of extra-sized and 154 kg of catchable carp were landed in Döröské and Szecsőd. The extra-sized fish weighed an average of 7 kilograms, but some specimens weighing around 9 kilograms also arrived during the stocking. On Thursday, all 1,500 kg of carp that had been forecast arrived as planned.
The distribution of fish stocked on Wednesday by water area was as follows:
- Hungarian carp: 314.3 kg extra-large carp, approximately 45 pieces.
- Döröske: 984 kg extra-sized carp, approximately 140 pieces, and 154 kg catchable carp.
As we have indicated, the quantity, number and size of fish that will actually arrive during fish stocking can only be determined on site. This means that there may be some differences between preliminary plans and the quantities actually stocked, as has happened now.
The stocking continued on Thursday. A total of 1,500 kg of catchable carp were placed in four additional fishing waters:
- Kerkaszentkirályi Kerka backwater: 250 kg
- Lake Kęthatór, Kerkafalva: 400 kg
- Lake Vadasa: 350 kg
- Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu: 500 kg
After that, fellow anglers will only have to wait until the beginning of next week for the next shipment of fish:

50 EXTRA carp (specimens around 8 kg)
- Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu:
50 EXTRA carp (specimens around 8 kg)
