Days full of experiences at the 32nd FEHOVA
The 32nd International Weapons, Fishing, Hunting Exhibition was held between 5 and 9 February 2026 at the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, where the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations was also represented. During the four-day event, there was continuous hustle and bustle at the joint stand of Vasi Vizek and the Győr Fishing Association, as well as in the central area of the Hungarian National Fishing Association (MOHOSZ), with a good atmosphere and plenty of experiences awaiting those interested.
On Thursday's opening day, the special atmosphere of FeHoVa was felt from the very first moments: many visitors, friendly conversations, old and new acquaintances, and the meeting of numerous child anglers made the day truly memorable. It was a pleasure to see how great the interest in fishing is from both young and old.
Friday was particularly important for us, as our Association organized the exhibition with the support of MOHOSZ, and the students of the Rumi Rajki István Elementary School's fishing club were also able to visit the exhibition. The children were treated to a wealth of interactive games, fish identification tasks, fishing-related presentations and new products at the MOHOSZ stand. The smiles, enthusiasm and experiences clearly confirmed that these programs are of real value in educating young people.
And in Zombaton, the Vas team expanded further: the fishing students from Sárvár, Rábapaty and Szombathely also participated in FEHOVA. Fishing puzzles, “plush fish” fishing, stage talks, demonstrations, and the countless interesting things offered by the stands ensured that this day was unforgettable. Of course, souvenirs and fishing items could not be left out, as well as shared experiences.
During the exhibition, MOHOSZ welcomed visitors with a larger stand than ever before, where, in addition to the administration related to fishing registration, the Hungarian Fishing Card and the state fishing exam, there were also numerous games, prizes and professional programs. In the framework of the MOHOSZ Agora, fishing equipment manufacturers and distributors presented their latest products, and in the youth area, interactive tasks, presentations and point-collecting games enriched the program. More than a thousand children nationwide were able to participate in the event, including a large number of young people from Vas.
After FEHOVA, which ended on February 9th, we can confidently say that we were enriched with many experiences, inspiring encounters, and positive ones. It was great to be a part of this social, professional, and eventful event.
We would like to thank the Hungarian National Fishing Association for the opportunity and support, thanks to which the children from the fishing club in Vas were able to attend FEHOVÁ and have such special experiences. We would like to thank our colleagues, the staff of MOHOSZ and all those who contributed to the success with their work, organization, presence and enthusiasm.
