Continuous improvements to our fishing waters

A key goal for our association is that the fishing waters under our management not only provide an outstanding fishing experience, but also that the infrastructure serving safe use and a cultured environment is continuously developed. In the recent period, significant investments have been made on two of our lakes: the development of the approach to Újperinti I. fishing lake has been completed, and the renovation of the water level regulating structure of Magyarszecsődi Lake has been completed.

• The accessibility of Újperint I. fishing lake has improved significantly

We previously reported that development work has begun on the surroundings of Újperinti I. Fishing Lake. We are pleased to present the final result of the investment, thanks to which access to the lake has become significantly more convenient, safer and more cultured for anglers.

The developments that began last year continued this year in order for our anglers to spend their free time in an increasingly orderly environment.

During the investment:

• 45 m³ of Uzsa 0/63 crushed stone was installed to strengthen the road base,
• We prepared an area of 1,300 m² for new paving,
• 130 m³ of red gravel was delivered, spread and compacted,
• a significant section of the road around the lake has been renovated,
• and several stops and expansions have been created next to the lake.

As a result of the nearly 3.9 million forint investment, the lakeshore is easier to access by car than ever before, and the new road surface significantly improves traffic conditions.

Another important goal of the development was to replace the previously unauthorized crossing over the Pap-árok. Since the previous crossing did not meet the official regulations, it had to be demolished. However, the new red gravel road and the established stopping places continue to ensure convenient access to a significant part of the lake while complying with the legal regulations.

We ask our fishermen to use the new route when approaching the affected shorelines and to park their vehicles in the designated parking areas. This will not only make traffic safer, but will also avoid using neighboring properties.

• The renovation of the water level regulating structure of Lake Magyarszecsődi has been completed.

In parallel, the renovation of the water level regulating structure of Lake Magyarszecsődi, carried out with our own resources, was also completed.

The aim of the investment was to ensure that the operational water level of the lake could be maintained safely and in a regulated manner in the long term. The previous, aging structure was replaced by a more modern, more durable and water-law-compliant solution, which will contribute to the safe operation and sustainable management of the lake in the long term.

With the completion of the development, the lake's water management has become more predictable, which also forms an important basis for the management and future maintenance of fishing water.

Our association continues to work to make the fishing waters it manages more organized, safer and more comfortable for anglers. The developments that have now been implemented also serve this purpose, and we trust that they will contribute to the high-quality operation of the fishing waters of Vásárlón for many years to come.
