Beautiful pikes and amazing carps have entered our waters
In line with the preliminary news, with the support of the Hungarian National Fishing Association's "Installation and reintroduction of standard and preferred native fish species" (ÁPFE-VII-4/2025) tender and the "Development of the carp stock of fishing waters" (ÁPFE-VII/8/2025), 750 kg of I–II. summer pike from Tógazda Halászati ZRT. and 2000 kg of extra-sized carp with an average weight of 9.35 kg from the stock of Bertalan és Társai Halászati KFT. arrived in the Vási waters on Friday.
The current installations have taken place in the following water areas:
I.-II. summer pike placement:
- Rába River – Vas County Section – 100 kg
- Szombathely Boating Lake – 50 kg
- Szombatheley Fishing Lake – 50 kg
- Vasvár lakes – 50 kg
- Magyarszecsőd gravel pit lake – 100 kg
- Csánig gravel pit lake – 50 kg
- Gencsapáti Fishing Lake – 50 kg
- Rábasömjén gravel pit – 50 kg
- Lake Kerkaszentkirály – 50 kg
- Celldömölk Brickyard and Park Lake – 100 kg
- Csepreg Brick Factory Lake – 100 kg*

Extra-large carp installations in the following water areas:
- Půspökmolnár gravel pit lake – 300 kg
- Szombathely Boating and Fishing Lake – 500 kg
- Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu – 500 kg
- Magyarszecsőd gravel pit lake – 700 kg
In connection with the predator stocking implemented with the grant, we once again ask our anglers to respect the stocked fish stock while complying with the applicable laws and local fishing regulations. The vast majority of the stocked pike are undersized, but given the small fish stock in our waters, they may reach a size that is suitable for next year's season, thus providing our anglers with more and more fishing experiences.
No ban was imposed following the planned installations, so our anglers can indulge in their passion immediately after installation, however, please note that the installed large carps serve exclusively to develop the carp population in the water areas and provide fishing experiences.
We strongly urge T. Fishing partners to comply with the lower-upper (max. 60 cm) size restrictions set out in the law and the fishing regulations!
The extra carp that have been planted must be placed back into the water as gently as possible after the photo has been taken!
Violating the upper size limit and keeping the fish will result in official action, and transporting the extra-large carp alive will result in a police report!
