April 2025 Monthly Prohibitions
Fishing competitions will start in the county in April. During the events, there will be full or partial fishing bans for anglers who have not registered for the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we will also publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has ordered a fishing ban at the following locations and times in April:
- On April 5, 2025 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a partial fishing ban will be in effect on the Lukácsháza side of Lake Abért II due to a private fishing competition.
On April 12, 2025 (Saturday) from 7:30 to 16:00, a partial fishing ban will be in effect on the Szombathely Boating Lake due to the Spartan Race obstacle course competition! Fishing will only be allowed on the piers on the Árpád Road side! We ask fellow anglers not to hinder the competition with their fishing activities on the other shore sections!
- On April 13, 2025 (Sunday), from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a partial fishing ban will be in effect on the Lukácsháza settlement and Gyöngyös stream side of Lake Abért II due to a private fishing competition.
- On April 19, 2025 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a partial fishing ban will be in effect on the Lukácsháza side of Lake Abért II due to a private fishing competition.
- On Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., fishing will be partially allowed on the Püspökmolnár Lake peninsula due to a community event! Fishing will be allowed on the other shores of the lake without restrictions.
