Another 10,000 small sculpins have found a home in the Rába
As a continuation of the river fish stocking, another batch of pre-reared small ling arrived on Tuesday after being raised and transported by the Baja-based Megafish Halászati KFT. 5,000 of them were stocked in the Magyarláki section of the river and 5,000 in the Alsószölnök section.
We are confident that this year's stocking - affecting almost the entire section of the river - will significantly strengthen the native sculpin population of the Rába. With this stocking, the Szentgotthárd area has received a priority stocking of sculpin, which will contribute to the enrichment of the fish population of the river section and the strengthening of the population of the species in the long term.
In order to ensure continuous fishing experiences, on Wednesday, May 6, 400 kg of catchable carp arrived from the Balatoni Halgazdálódasi Nonprofit ZRT. Balatonlelle - Irmapusztai site to the Döröskei reservoir. According to the reports of the anglers, the Balaton crucian carp has found excellent living conditions in the reservoir, providing excellent fishing opportunities for carp fishing enthusiasts.
We would like to draw the attention of anglers to the fact that a separate fishing regulation applies to the water area, which can be read below, but the most important regulation is that, in addition to invasive fish species, only carp between 30 and 60 cm in length may be kept in the water area, in a maximum quantity of 2 per day, 6 per week, and 20 per year.
