Several fishing competitions will be held throughout the county in September. During the events, there will be full or partial fishing bans for anglers who have not registered for the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we will also publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations orders a fishing ban at the following locations and times:
- On September 5, 2026 (Saturday), from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a fishing ban will be in effect on the Alpesi Lake in Vaskerestes for anglers not registered for the competition due to the Endrődy Zoltán Memorial Competition.
- On September 5, 2026 (Saturday), from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a fishing ban on Lake Répcelaki for anglers not registered for the competition due to the VASI VIZEKEN-GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAIT LAKE RÉPCELAK CUP.
- On September 6, 2026 (Sunday), from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a fishing ban will be in effect on the Döröskei reservoir for anglers not registered for the competition due to the relocation of the VASI VIZEKEN-GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAIT MOLNÁRI-TÓ KUPA to Döröskei.
- On September 6, 2026 (Sunday), from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a partial fishing ban on the Lukácsháza settlement and Gyöngyös stream side of Lake Abért II due to the PK Fish Racing Individual Freestyle fishing competition.
- On September 12, 2026 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a fishing ban on Lake Magyarszecsődi due to the Lions Club Körmend Charity Fishing Competition for anglers not registered for the competition.
- On September 19, 2026 (Saturday) and September 20, 2026 (Sunday) from 06:30 to 15:30, due to the GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAIT - VAS COUNTY INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, there will be a general ban on the Lukácsháza settlement and Gyöngyös stream side of Lake Abért II for anglers not registered for the competition.
- On September 27, 2026 (Sunday), from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will be a fishing ban on Magyarszecsődi Lake for anglers not registered for the competition due to the Border Guard SHE. association fishing competition.
