2024. September bans

In the month of September, a fishing competition is held several times throughout the county. During the events, full or partial fishing bans will be in effect for anglers who have not entered the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations orders a fishing ban at the following locations and times in September:

• On September 7, 2024 (Saturday) from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., due to a private fishing competition on Lake Vadása, fishing will be prohibited in the designated section for anglers not registered for the competition.

• On September 7, 2024 (Saturday) from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect at the Alpesi lake in Vaskerzeste due to an association fishing competition.​​​​

• On September 28, 2024 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on the designated section of the competition course on Lake Abért II in Lukácsháza due to a fishing competition.​​

• On September 28, 2024 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect at Lake Magyarszecsődi due to a fishing competition.​​​​

• On September 15, 2024 (Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect at the Kéthatár lake in Kerkaval due to a fishing competition.​​​​

• On September 21 (Saturday) and September 22 (Sunday), 2024, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be a general ban on the Abért II fishing competition for anglers who have not entered the competition.

• On September 25, 2024 (Wednesday), from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on the Árpád Street side of the Szombathely Csónakázó-tó, due to the "competition" of the Integrated Fishing Day, there will be a general fishing ban for anglers who have not entered the competition in the designated section.

• On September 29, 2024 (Sunday) from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general ban on the Celldömölki lake for anglers who have not entered the competition due to a fishing competition.
