2024. October bans

In the month of October, a fishing competition is held several times throughout the county. During the events, full or partial fishing bans will be in effect for anglers who have not entered the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations orders a fishing ban at the following locations and times in October:

• From 6:00 a.m. on September 30, 2024 (Monday) until 12:00 p.m. on October 4, 2024 (Friday), there is a general ban on fishing on Gersekarát Sárvíz lake for anglers who have not entered the competition.

• On October 6, 2024 (Sunday), from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general ban on the Abért II lake for anglers who have not entered the competition due to an association fishing competition.

• On October 12, 2024 (Saturday) from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect at the Kéthatár lake in Kerkaval due to a fishing competition.​​​​

• On October 19, 2024 (Saturday) from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on the designated section of the competition course due to a fishing competition on Lake Vadása.​​

• On October 26, 2024 (Saturday) from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a general fishing ban on the designated section of the competition course due to a fishing competition on Lake Abért II in Lukácsháza.​​
