The Körmendi Workers' Fishing Association will organize the traditional Végvári Győző Memorial Competition on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Magyarszecsőd gravel pit lake, to which all association members are welcome!
Program:
06.45 – 07.00 Registration
07.00 – 07.15 Opening - Draw
07.15 – 08.00 Seating, preparation
08.00 – 12.00 Competition
12.00 – 13.00 Reflection
13.00 – 13.30 Lunch
13.30 – 14.00 Announcement of results
Categories:
- child (up to 14 years old)
- youth (14-18 years old)
- adult (18-100 years old)
Remuneration:
There will be prizes for 1st-3rd place in each category, as well as a commemorative trophy for the competition, which the most successful angler can keep for a year. After the competition, all participating guests will be treated to a bowl of hot food.

Attention!
Végvári Győző organized by the Körmendi Workers' Union
During the memorial competition, only competition participants can fish on the lake between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.!
