X. PINKA-VÖLGYI HALAS DAY IN VESKRESZTES
This year, the very popular Pinka Valley Fish Day will be held for the 10th time in Vaskeresztes, organized by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations on July 13 (Saturday). Breaking with jubilee traditions, applications for the fish dish making competition can be submitted 2 months earlier this year.
The organizers provide the following to the entrants:
- max. HUF 10,000 reimbursement for ingredients
- 10 plates and spoons
- cleanliness package (paper towel, sponge, waste collection bag)
- 1 table and 2 benches
- firewood if required
Planned program:
8.00 - Registration at the Alpesi Fogadó and Fishing Tourist Center
8.00 - 12.00 Fish food preparation competition
12.30 - 13.00 Judging of fish dishes
15.00 - Announcement of results

Registration deadline: July 4, 2024.
The teams entered for the competition must undertake that min. 10 interested people are provided with a tasting of the fish food they have prepared between 12:30 and 3:00 p.m.
Awards: 1-3. the winning team receives a gift and a souvenir.
