Still, there will be feeder races on Lake Abért in May
According to the government decisions recently officially confirmed in the Hungarian Gazette, fishing competitions, tournaments and sports events can be held again - in closed conditions! We will soon decide to hold or cancel the federal races that have been postponed so far and provide information.
According to MOHOSZ, the Lake Abért Lake qualifier of V. Method OB will be held at the original time - May 29-30, 2020. According to the MOHOSZ register, there are still limited places available for the qualifier, so you can still enter on www.mohosz.hu . In preparation for the national championship, the decision was made to hold the following preparation competitions together with our partners:

For information, it should be noted that with the help of MOHOSZ, with the support of the Government, 25 carp between 1.5-2.5 kg of carp were added to the Abért Lakes two weeks ago, in order to further strengthen the fish stock of Lake Abért, which also functions as a racetrack. Anglers entered for the above feeder races over the next week will be granted a license to enter the training and race periods in order to approach the racetrack. Due to the epidemiological situation, new special regulations (eg: limitation of the number of helpers .... etc.) are expected to apply at the competitions, about which we will provide information after the forthcoming MOHOSZ OHSZK (VIII.) Emergency procedural information. The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Anglers' Associations does not plan to hold any further fishing competitions in May 2020 in addition to the competitions listed above. The county competition series will start in June at the earliest.
